Voter Registration...done

I really really hate it when my post gets deleted before I publish it!!!!!!!!

96. Voter registration was mailed off a few days ago.

79. Boys played this month with Jaden, Xavier, and Ty Ty several times, so this has been fulfilled for the month!

90. Working on this... are we switching to St. Peter's or St. Mary's??? Hopefully this will be decided in the coming few weeks.

27. Jacob called tonight about concealed carry classes. So this probably will be done soon, too.

23. Emily loaned me a few promising books, so I hope to get started on this soon, too!

I really wish I had added "sort through pictures" to this, because it really needs to be done. I like accomplishments so much better when I can check them off of a list! So I'll probably brag about that when I get it done, too.

Our new puppy!

Here is a picture of our new puppy!! His name is Emmitt, and he's a cutie. So another thing to check off of the list:

24. Get a German Shepherd pup.

91. I also convinced the boys to get rid of one toy truck. Four to go!

Cool beans.

I did something! :)

So we went on a date (we try to get out at least every three months...) and accomplished a goal or two! Woo hoo!

32. Visit two local wineries. Well, we visited one. The Ovation is very good. We brought home two bottles and gave one to my BIL for his birthday.

36. I wore jewelry on this date!

42. We saw The Dark Knight! And this one I can cross off totally! It was awesome, by the way, just like everyone said. Wow. And we saw it in the brand new theater in the next town over.

65. This was our one date this month. Maybe I should try to set up one for next month already. That way, it has a better chance of actually happening.

68. I've got some work done on this this past weekend.

So that's what I've most recently done. Onward we go!

Update 8/8/08

So I've accomplished NOTHING so far, but here's what I've tried:

24. Trying to find a puppy by checking craigslist, kijiji, and 100 other sites everyday. We have too specific needs!

57. I was doing so well with this, then I got a sunburn!!! I can't really wash my face very well with a sunburn. So I'm starting over again...

59. Was doing well here until I realized I have lost both of my library cards!

65. I'm planning on going on a date tonight!! That should knock out maybe one or two goals... we'll see.

78. I know I've seen this since we moved here, but I've lost it again. So I'll have to keep looking.

99. Accomplishing this so far!

So is this just a list of excuses or what? Honestly, this is what I've tried to do. You can't accomplish anything without trying, right?

101 in 1001

I just discovered this, although it's been around for a long time. I finally completed my own list, and I intend to blog about it here. From what I can see, most people give it up pretty early. I will probably be like all of them. But my initial intentions are good! Here's my list:

New house goals
1. Fix the closet/pantry thing in the boys room
2. Get curtains for Hank & Ty’s room
3. pump for the well
4. get the cistern lined or find another solution to water problem
5. get a strawberry pot for herbs (and plant herbs)
6. get 2 fruit trees for backyard (2/2)
7. get blackberry bushes
8. get laying chickens
9. get goats
10. start a veggie garden
11. hang flag
12. organize stash downstairs
13. find a good organizational system for tupperware
14. sort out the mess of boy clothes
15. paint and distress the new high chair
16. get all boxes out of our living area at least
17. paint and decorate the play room

19. trim grocery budget to $250/month hahahahaha!!! Didn't account for crazy inflation.
